It seems that there are a few of us that long for good, healthy, sustainable friendships. Those who are honest and compassionate, truthful and loving. God also had the same desire. He wants to be worshipped in spirit and in truth.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4 : 23 - 24
This is the mark of a true lasting friendship, one without ulterior motives and selfish ambitions, but to unite for a cause and purpose. To have a effect, a positive effect on the lives of others.
The self-awareness and self-improvement culture has turned into self-idolisation and has caused a flow of devastating expectations, poor communication and a desire for self-promoting relationships instead of genuine connection. While being aware of the effect we have and wanting to improve our relationships is good and Godly, making this the most important thing, is not.
This has led me to test the waters….
If we were to hold a weekly online meeting, would you like to attend?
I will be putting in place certain criteria and a three strikes policy, to build a healthy, sustainable community, that benefits all those involved.
I will start by running a six-week course on healthy relationships. It will cover things around accountability, flexibility, refining, generosity, trust and freedom.
It will be held on AEST (not AESDT) (GMT +10)
The poll below will be open for 2 days only. I will update this page with the results and send another email out at that stage.
I would love to hear your ideas and feedback on this idea. Feel free to message me and let me know.
